Precision Drum Team

I confess--I have had a special attraction to drummers since I was a music student in college.

View this video for a fabulous example of precision drumming from my second country Switzerland. Can you say practice?

Anchorage Musings!

Back from Anchorage. Thank you, thank you to my colleagues and clients there. Anchorage is a spiritual vortex. People acknowledge and smile. I love the city!

I stayed downtown at the Hilton and walked much through the downtown area. Found a funky, bohemian spot called the Snow City Cafe open for breakfast and lunch. Staffed by friendly college kids. Excellent reindeer sausage! Simply must have salmon and reindeer sausage while in Alaska.

The clean-up crew for the city wear shirts that say "Maintenance Ambassadors". Gotta love that. No sales tax in Alaska-got to love that! Found on my rental, a Ford Escape, an easy-fuel no cap system. No fuel cap to fuss with! Nice.

Stay good to yourself. Until next time...Miluna

Moving and Physical Strength

My husband and I just moved to a new home. We moved ourselves except for the "big" things like my grand piano, beds, etc. Trip after trip in a 17' U-Haul. Box after box. Exhausting. Unloading late into the night.

I am very grateful for my workouts and self-care because I did not hurt my back despite intense use. I realized (again) how important being strong and in-shape was. A great reminder of not taking my health and energy for granted.

I am off to Anchorage and the Whole Life Festival on Friday. See you there?

Treasure yourself! Until next time...Dr. Miluna

Watch out for "Tribe" Sickness!

Tis the season. That's what I am told. It's flu season. Really? Does the flu know that? Colds are going around. Going around where? Everyone is sick. Here's the truth--no, they are not. I'm not sick. I know many people who are not sick.

I don't get sick. I may process, I may feel bad once in a while, but I don't get sick.

Don't believe the consciousness. The tribe that keeps you sick like them. Keep your mind clear and your thoughts on health and wellness. Your natural state is healthy. Energetic. Feeling great. Don't get stuck in the "sickness" stories.

Take good care of yourself-you ARE worth it! Until next time...many Blessings, Miluna

Consciously Create your 2009

As we move quickly into the holiday season, consciously create your 2009. Write down your promises to yourself. I prefer promises to goals or intentions or resolutions, because 99% of the time they are not kept. Promises carry more weight and a higher frequency even in the word promise itself.

Create what I call your Promise Plan in writing. Cut out pictures and color and decorate a large posterboard. This is your Vision Board. Be as specific as you can. Clarity is key. Believe in yourself. Don't give up on your dreams and ideas.

I am headed for 11 days of vacation.

Richest Blessings and may all your Heart's Desires be Fulfilled in 2009!

Over--Supplementation!

I am seeing a lot of clients who are taking multiple vitamins and herbs and supplements. They can interfere with each other and can even be dangerous. Also very expensive. Please check with your holistic health practitioner or doctor and tell them about all the supplements you are taking. More is not better.

Herbs can also react with medications. Be safe.

I have a lot of respect for essential oils, vitamins, and herbs, most are very effective and you do not want to over-supplement any more than you want to over-medicate.
